There’s no doubt that one of the hardest-working pieces in any winter wardrobe is a great coat. But there’s one thing that might just rival it in terms of airtime: a reversible coat. And after Zara’s sell-out reversible jacket became one of last season's most talked-about buys, the brand has brought it back for winter—this time in coat form.

You might remember the jacket in question. One side teddy, the other faux leather, it did the rounds on Instagram thanks to the simple appeal of two genuinely chic pieces of outerwear for the price of one. Now, just as temperatures are dropping, Zara has supersized the concept into a proper coat. One side has a sleek leather-effect finish, whilst the reverse is sumptuous faux fur complete with a chic oversized collar. The longer silhouette makes it feel even more luxurious, and I can already picture it with straight-leg jeans, cashmere knits and leather boots.
