As of late, slipper mules have become the de facto shoe for fashion insiders. In late August, trendsetter Hailey Bieber styled black slip-on mules with a casual, model-off-duty look, pairing them with a white V-neck long-sleeve tee and low-slung black trousers. Earlier this month, bestie Kendall Jenner took a cue from the Rhode founder, opting for a black velvet iteration with a black long-sleeve tee and navy skirt. (Funny enough, Bieber was in tow for the outing.) And more recently, Jennifer Lawrence hopped aboard the trend, stepping out in New York City in a chunky brown suede pair styled with a navy pullover, jeans, and a lime-green purse.
